I really dig the idea of a more eco-friendly cat food, and my feline friend took to it after a bit. But man, the customer service is just awful. I set up a recurring order to ensure my cat always has enough grub. It’s not functioning, and the support team only responds to some of my messages while ignoring others. I've received wrong info multiple times, and no food has shown up, so now I gotta head out and grab a different brand, then go through the whole transition process with my cat again. It honestly feels like they don’t care about their customers or the animals.

Our feline is totally into Lovebug! This toy has become a favorite for sure.

My cat really enjoys the food, and the delivery is consistently quick and nicely packaged. Plus, I appreciate the subscription's flexibility; if we're heading out of town, we can easily postpone an order.

We picked up a couple of Lovebug packs for our cats (1.5 years and a 6-month-old kitten) to give it a shot. Followed Lovebug's advice and mixed some with their usual dry food (which is a vet-approved brand), while the other three packs stayed upstairs in the delivery box.
When we got back from work, we found two very satisfied cats who weren’t hungry at all... strange since they’re usually food maniacs, so we don’t leave food out and just time their meals. It didn’t take long to figure out why they weren’t hungry... two of the three corners of the packs were gnawed open... looks like they had themselves a little feast! So, Lovebug is definitely a hit!

For a few months now, we've been feeding our two cats Lovebug. They really took to it right off the bat. We were dealing with one of them getting sick after meals, but since we switched to Lovebug, that issue has disappeared. It's fantastic for cats, and I appreciate that it has a smaller environmental footprint. As a vegetarian, I feel way better about giving this to my kitties.

Terrible! It took forever to get here, and I didn’t get a reply to my email or Twitter messages, plus there’s no clear phone number to call. All I was trying to find out was the delivery time. Usually, food from other companies arrives in three days. Instead, I received just an automated response and that was it. A little common courtesy wouldn’t hurt. Even now, weeks later, I still haven’t heard anything or received an apology. Given the price, this might just be the worst experience I’ve had with pet food.

My cat can't get enough of Lovebug dry food. At 10 months old, I was a bit anxious about how he’d transition from Whiskas kitten dry and wet food, but he devours every bit of it, meows for more, and all that jazz. Since he got neutered around the time I made the switch, that might play a part in his hearty appetite, but honestly, he’s never liked Whiskas as much as this. I'm super happy with Lovebug food, and so is Cooper!

My kitties are pretty particular about their meals, so I was a bit anxious they wouldn’t take to a new dry food (I once tried switching their wet food, and it ended up with a lot of it being given away since they wouldn’t go near it). But to my great surprise, they dove right in! They absolutely adore their new grub, and I’m thrilled it’s made from insects too! What a brilliant concept. I should mention, though, that the pieces are on the smaller side, so my cats don’t really chew this food; they just gulp it down. Because of that, I’ve had to revert to oral care cat food with bigger bits, so they actually chew it, or else they end up with too much tartar buildup.

This cat food is just awesome! We’ve got two felines—one is a total indoor kitty with a delicate tummy, while the other is an adventurous outdoor cat who loves to run, climb, and hunt. This is the only brand they both dig and finish every last bit in their bowl. The reason I didn’t give it a full five stars is that it took a bit longer than expected to arrive after I placed the order.

My five-year-old feline had been dealing with colitis for nine long months. After several vet visits and pricey diet changes, I decided to give LoveBug a shot on a whim. Amazingly, within a fortnight, my cat was back to her usual self! It costs half of what the vet's fancy food does, it's ethical, and both of our cats chow down on it without any fuss. Honestly, it feels like some kind of magic has occurred. I know my review sounds like it was paid for, but I'm just super happy with this product. The cats might not be as thrilled, but hey, they ain't complaining!
